The first Parent–Teacher–Student (PTS) meeting for NIOS students was conducted at Don Bosco Youth Welfare Centre, Parra. The programme began with a prayer service and welcome address, followed by presentations on the NIOS curriculum, Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs), journals, examinations, counselling services, and career guidance. Parents were also informed about institutional rules, attendance requirements, school timings, uniforms, and other academic guidelines. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
