The Association of Past Pupils of Don Bosco is a worldwide organization of former students of the Salesians of Don Bosco, bound together by their shared connection to Don Bosco and the wider Salesian Family. The tradition traces back to 1878, when Don Bosco himself proposed a "Mutual Aid Society" for old boys facing hardship, and it was formalized in 1911 under Don Philip Rinaldi at the first International Congress of Old Boys, where the group took on the name "Past Pupils." Since then, local units across Salesian institutions worldwide have kept alumni connected to each other and to the values instilled in their school years — honesty, service, and care for young people.


The Don Bosco Parra Unit

The Past Pupils Unit at Don Bosco Parra was formed in 2024, as part of a wider effort by the Federation of the Association of Past Pupils, Panjim Konkan (INP) to reactivate dormant units and set up new ones across the province. Special meetings drew around 150 past pupils from Candolim, Calangute, Parra, Saligao, Mapusa and Porvorim, and the unit was formally constituted at its Annual General Body Meeting on 27 July 2024.
